Held in the Detention Center in Miami, Florida, Cross is determined to prove his identity in a series of Notebooks in which he speculates about the reasons behind Feeney's disenchantment with the War in Vietnam and his defection.

Biographie de l'auteur

PETER RUPPERT is Professor Emeritus at the Florida State University and the author of Reader in a Strange Land. He is married to novelist and playwright Janet Burroway. They divide their time between Tallahassee, Florida, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and Chicago.
