A life long resident of Rhode Island Dave Marchetti has been an avid keeper and breeder of fish for over forty years. One of his favorite fish over the years has been the three-spined stickleback a small native fish that breeds in a small stream less than a mile from where he lives. Mr. Marchetti has routinely caught and watched these fascinating fish breed in aquariums over the years. Steve the Sticklebacks adventure stems from Mr. Marchetti's experiences and imagination.
