Marlena Jones-Butler is married and a mother of three. Her aspiration is to live as a Christian and be the woman of God that he wants her to be. She attended Prairie View A&M University where she obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management. In the fall she plans to return to the University. Marlena's pastor Bishop Eddie Newkirk had a vision to develop a program that would help as well as assist the youth at St. John Cathedral in Tampa, Fl. As a result, Marlena and the ladies at St. John Cathedral birthed and developed a mentor program, known today as the Ladies of Hope. The Ladies of Hope Ministry provides a Christ center teaching for young ladies ages 7 to 18, using biblical principles to encourage young ladies to lead a life that glorifies God. The Ladies of Hope commitment is to help young ladies understand and proclaim Gods word, and pursue Christ and His holiness with a passionate heart. Marlena siblings consist of two sisters and one brother. Her interest consists of writing, singing, church, and spending time with her family.
