À propos de l?auteur

The author is a board certified neurologist. He is Director of the Alzheimer's Disease and memory Disorders center since 1993, Houston Texas for 12 years and now Austin Texas for the last 10 years. A native of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, Dr Devere did his medical scool training at the University of Manitoba followed by a internship at The LAC USC medical center in Los Angeles and completed his Neurology Training at the University Of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He began neurology private practice in 1975 and is currently in full time neurology practice in Austin Texas. He is a contributing editor to the journal "Practical Neurology" since 2008 and contributes an article every other month of "Dementia Insights". He has a lot of experience (19 years) in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of memory loss and Dementia. He strongly believes that a lot of positive medical information in these disorders are not mentioned to the general public, caregivers and many health care providers. He believe it is important to reduce public fear of these disorders by giving all the facts.The purpose of writing this book on memory loss is based on this principle.
