Dr. Pierre F. Steenberg attained a B.A. Theology degree from Andrews University, Michigan. He also accomplished a B.A. Honors in Biblical Studies, an M.A. in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Both the M.A. and the Ph.D. were attained with distinction - the highest possible grade presented at a South African University. He graduated more recently Magna Cum Laude with a D.Min. in Pastoral Psychology and Family Therapy from the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, California. He is a member of numerous academic societies in both theology and counseling, including the Society of Biblical Literature and the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is the author of a number of articles and books.
