The author, Saba Joseph, has a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from M.I.T. and has participated in a wide range of Executive training programs at Harvard Law School, Harvard Business School, University of Tennessee , University of Massachusetts, Lowell and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is married. His wife of 33 years, Nancy, and his two adult Children, John and Elizabeth who were teenagers at the time, moved with him to China and helped shape the personal experiences described in this book. His career included 24 years with a top rated Fortune 500 consumer products company, 7 years with a direct mail marketing company and 4 years to date running his own consulting firm, The Joseph Group. He has and continues to consult for a broad range of clients including China JV’s, Manufacturing arms of small to mid-size businesses and Venture Capital firms where he specializes in turnaround situations for new acquisitions. He is also active in M.I.T.'s Northern California New Venture Mentoring Program. He helps young entrepreneurs convert their ideas and business concepts into business realities. He enjoys teaching and sharing his knowledge, developing management talent, coaching executives and helping people succeed and achieve their best.
