Biographie de l'auteur

Clifford H. Colpitts, Jr. has been writing creatively for much of his sixty-three years. His writing can be easily found on the Internet. In his younger years he had to contend with alcoholism, drug addiction and mental illness. After spending four years in prison, three of which were spent on the infamous Rikers Island in New York City, he discovered sobriety. After receiving his GED on Rikers, a year after his release, he served honorable for three years in the US Army during the Vietnam War. When he left the Army he worked as a Military Discharge Upgrader. With the help of The National Council of Churches and the New York City Veterans Upgrade Center, he set up three veteran self-help programs in three New York prisons, Sing-Sing, Greenhaven and Arthur Kill. Colpitts attended several colleges and received his AA degree from Regents College in 1986. He now attends Saint Leo University, a Catholic institution, and is studying for his BA in psychology. For most of his life he called New York City his home. Three years ago he moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He has been with his present wife, Sharon, for almost twenty years and adores their four cats. His spends most of his time studying for his degree and working on his second novel.
