Dana Leipold is a freelance copywriter for corporate American by day and a writer of humor and other seriously interesting stuff any other time, which is in between cleaning the house, raising two children, maintaining a marriage, eating, sleeping, etc. Her book, Stupid Poetry: The Ultimate Collection of Sublime and Ridiculous Poems was an accident that made people laugh. She decided to keep typing away at the keyboard and soon her writing appeared on MindBodyGreen, HelloGiggles, Women on Writing, Long Story Short eZine, Bloggertalk.net, and the Castro Valley Patch. With the explosion of Indie books and self-published authors on the market today, Dana believes there is no better time to be an author. In 2012, she began helping other writers turn their dreams of publishing books into reality by sharing her knowledge, successes, and trip ups from her own self-publishing journey. Dana lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her very understanding husband, and two children. She also is a recovering Starbucks addict but so far there is no rehab for that yet.
