Mike North is a retired aerospace engineer. He has stood beside his wife Linda while she fought two bouts with breast cancer and one with melanoma. He also experienced seeing one of their daughters fight breast cancer. He has been a part of twelve breast cancer endurance walks: one cheering his daughter on, one as a volunteer crew member and ten as a walker. Mike and Linda have two daughters, three granddaughters and a grandson. They live in the West Hills area of Los Angeles.
