Synopsis
**NEW ** ILLUSTRATED PAPERBACK EDITION Matt is a ten year old boy who is obsessed with football. His friends are equally fanatical and together they spend every spare minute practising their skills. Despite this, when Matt tries out for the local football club, he doesn't get into the elite team. A family holiday in Wales gives Matt the opportunity to train with a proper coach but then Darren, one of a threatening pair of boys from school, turns up unexpectedly. A blood slurping wolf-dog, van dwelling zombies, a quirky family, X-rays and mates, all play a part in Matt's Story. It is a tale of disappointment, friendship and eventually fulfilment, playing his beloved game of football.
