Leora Janson Sipp was born on a farm in northeastern Ohio. She learned about the 'sugar bush' from helping the family produce maple syrup every year. She grew up driving horses, tractors and helping with the animals on the farm. Leora worked in the public and private schools teaching kindergarten and preschool. Leora feels that children need to learn about the 'how to' of farming activities.
