Biographie de l'auteur

Marjorie Lewis; author of Pain No More and Pain No More Too; her life's story as a survivor of domestic violence for thirteen years. She works with Families First; Inc. Domestic Violence Agency of Bladen County in Elizabethtown NC as a Victim Advocate; and Court Advocate for domestic violence. Marjorie holds a bachelor's degree in theology and will be pursuing her master's. Marjorie is a SOAR Caucus (Sisters Overcoming Abusive Relationships); member of the North Carolina Coalition against Domestic Violence and a member of the Red Hat Club in Elizabethtown; New Carolina. Marjorie is also a cofounder of M&E Productions for Domestic Violence. Marjorie and Eathel Mitchell travels across the United States to churches; schools; organizations; and social groups; educating their audience by doing skits on domestic violence. Marjorie love to motivate her audience by empowering and encouraging them to look within themselves to build their self-esteem. Marjorie speaks at Federal Domestic Violence Conferences and the North Carolina Department of Corrections. STOP and Change Directions Program. Educating the communities and churches alike. Marjorie also enjoys educating women in her parenting class and support groups-letting them know that they are not alone. Marjorie also educates the mothers of Young MOMS Connect in Bladen County along with Jessica Graham Thomas and Latoya Beatty; speaking on Safe Dates and Parenting Under Stress. Marjorie enjoys speaking to youth at the middle and high schools; and churches on teen-dating violence. She; along with Eather Mitchell; has done several skits in Bladen County Schools on teen-dating violence and the control of abusive relationships. She believes it is vital that our teens know how to have a healthy relationship and understand they don't have to settle in a relationship and realize their education takes priority.
