À propos de l'auteur

George Graft is a retired businessman & engineer with prior service as a Naval Officer. He has taken up writing to leave lessons he learned over a lifetime of service to his grandchildren and others that may be looking for some practical advice on self improvement, motivation, innovation, education and the joy that comes from providing meaningful service to the community. His business career involved a large amount of technical writing but this book is his first attempt at producing a novel or in writing fiction. His writing style portrays real life experiences and solutions without using foul language or vulgar scenes that might be inappropriate for younger audiences while maintaining the action and depth desired by a more mature audience. His wide range of personal experiences add depth and realism to his writing that causes one to wonder if they are reading fact of fiction. The feelings and experiences felt by the main character in this book concerning her conversion to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints parallel his own. His primary goal is to leave a legacy for living to his grandchildren. Others may well find that these truths get better with age and have application in their own life. He has lived in many parts of the United States and conversed with convicts to congressmen. His writing portrays an understanding and knowledge of many places and sub-cultures found in America making this a travelogue worth reading.
