Her son was diagnosed on the Autism spectrum, which motivated her to write this book about the life experiences they have encountered together and the amazing unique character and personality of her son. In addition, her work in group and individual therapy with children on the spectrum promoted the idea to have a book with an identifiable character. This book creates opportunity for understanding, discussion, and questions with children on the spectrum, family, and friends. Stefany is active in promoting awareness and education about Autism spectrum disorders in her community.
