Dr. Allison Joy Ainsworth celebrates her life as a professor of communication, author, and public speaker. Allison has been married twice and divorced twice. Due to poor choices and random chance, she has had a difficult life. Allison finds her way out of an abusive marriage, endures the hardships of raising a medically fragile child, puts herself through college on her own, grieves the loss of her firstborn son and her two younger brothers, and struggles to find happiness after a failed relationship. YOU TOO CAN MOW THE GRASS grew out of her personal journal she kept to record the ups and downs of learning to love her life just the way that it is. Allison currently lives happily ever after in Gainesville, Georgia with her two daughters.
