David Cummings has been an entrepreneur and business and technology enthusiast for over ten years. In 2001 he founded Hannon Hill Corporation, now an Inc. 500 company and a leading provider of web content management solutions for the higher education and government industry verticals. He has since started four more companies: Pardot, a marketing automation SaaS provider; Clickscape, a technology-driven real estate agency; Rigor, a web performance toolset; and SalesLoft, makers of sales intelligence software. Pardot was named the fastest growing technology company in Atlanta in 2010 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. David has lectured on startups and technology at Duke University, Emory University, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has also presented at the Silicon Valley Web Guild, Advanced Technology Development Center, and the Technology Association of Georgia. He serves on the board of the Atlanta chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization and also on the board of Venture Atlanta. A native of Tallahassee, Florida, David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Duke University and studied at the London School of Economics. David co-authored his first book, Think Outside the Inbox: The B2B Marketing Automation Guide, with Pardot COO Adam Blitzer.
