MENTAL SYSTEMS THEORY This book offers a unique and extremely useful model of the mind mechanism and its connections with the soul and the body. It develops a set of concepts and laws that explain the mind phenomena and lay the foundations for a simple and highly effective method that improves the human systems quality of life. Juan Martín Figini is the creator of the Mental Systems Theory and the Mental Systems Engineering. His career has been focused on the understanding and development of human beings in society. As the Director of IBG Human Development, he has designed and applied several training programmes based on Mental Systems Engineering, such as "Conscious Leadership", "Mental Training for Athletes", "Vocational Development", "Personal Evolution" and "Mental Training for Managers and Executives", among others. He worked as a Consultant for Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, UK. He was the Executive Director of "Young Leadership and Country Vision", a cultural and social project which was part of an international social movement launched by Imagine Chicago. Following this initiative he organized and directed, among others, a free seminar for more than 120 young people, that offered one of the best programmes in the world on leadership development: Self Managing Leadership. This program was created by Brian Bacon and it is offered by the Oxford Leadership Academy. He has a Degree in Political Science from Saint Andrew's University (Argentina). His degree thesis, titled: Alienation in Rousseau: Social Criticism and Pedagogical Project, received from the academic jury of Saint Andrew's University the maximum score of ten points. He also studied the International Relations Degree in that university. He was granted a complete scholarship by the Weatherhead School of Business, Case Western Reserve University, USA
