Biographie de l'auteur

Calvin Thomas, a native of Detroit, MI, has experienced a life that has set the stage for prominence. The loss of his mother, as well as his beloved grandparents prior to graduating high-school, coupled with the compassionate act of adoption from a local family, has added much character to this born talent. From the release of his first poetry book, Between Blinks, to obtaining his Emergency Medical Technician Licensure and his involvement during Hurricane Ike in 2008 as part of a FEMA special response team, not to mention his many partnerships and compilations with Detroit local artist has created numerous accomplishments. Of all of his achievements, the one he is most proud of is becoming a husband and father. He married the love of his life Carmen Maria, and is happily raising three beautiful daughters. He is currently working on a Sci-Fi trilogy beginning with Forever Is Too Short, a sci-fi novel, as well as the release of further poetry collections. A once advanced civilization reaps the seeds of their own destruction. Four hundred years after their last war, the entirety of the population is hanging on by a thread. Divided by beliefs and culture, a struggle for power results in a dynamic show of faith and the will of the people. Forever Is Too Short, is a partial love story, war game, and religious struggle. Over all it's a wild sci-fi ride. This saga has a character for everyone allowing for a true interconnected experience.
