(The Rev. Dr.) Dave Glass is a Santa Cruz/Aptos native, a sixth generation member of a family that has been in Santa Cruz County for eight generations. His careers in church ministry and education have taken him far away from Aptos since his marriage to Chris in 1970, but he returns regularly to visit siblings, first, second, and third cousins, and friends. He and his wife now live in Lodi, in California's Central Valley, about as close to the Santa Cruz area as his finances will permit. His previous writing career, published and unpublished, has generally been of the dull academic and professional genres. Even his own wife has not yet read his doctoral dissertation. Now, in semi-retirement, he enjoys writing fun things that people may actually read.
