Michelle S. Morris began her career in politics and then moved to the private sector. She has more than twenty-five years' experience across all areas of communications in a wide range of industries, including chemical, financial services, health care, insurance, technology, pharmaceutical, energy, and maritime. Her specialty is leadership communications-the strategy; messaging; storytelling; executive writing, speech writing, coaching, and counsel; issues management; and creative initiatives that get people's attention, capture their imaginations, and help them align themselves inside the company (employee engagement) and out. Her focus is on communications as a strategic business tool to persuade and motivate people to align with the long-term objectives of the business. Michelle consults with executives at large, medium, and small companies to help them build and get where they wish to go faster and more effectively. She lives in southeastern Connecticut with her family. Torin M. Lee has had several incarnations within her more-than-fifteen-year career, including campaign field worker, health educator, public relations officer, and employee engagement consultant. Both inside and outside corporate walls, her main focus has been to find creative solutions to make a difference to her target stakeholders as well as the people for whom she works. With a self-professed short attention span, Torin understands the modern worker, what they are interested in, and how they want to get their information-all within the context of a fast-paced world of sound bites that compete for attention in and out of the workplace. Her execution of compelling initiatives that persuade and influence is highly targeted and focused. She enjoys motivating frontline employees and proving how the power of the people really can and does work in any environment. Torin lives in eastern Connecticut with her husband.
