A graduate of Long Island University and the University of California at Los Angeles, Jono Hardjowirogo worked as Computer Books Editor at Bantam Books, Simon Schuster, and Henry Holt for many years. During 1990's, he worked for Berlitz International, as its Worldwide Publishing Director, handling travels as well as language instruction books in 16 different languages. The last twelve years he worked for the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the oldest computer society in the world, as its Publisher. In 2010, Jono was honored by Cambridge Who's Who, which named him as Publisher of the Year. During the same time, he also received a Certificate of Recognition for inclusion into the Elite American Executives.
