M'Intosh," this special issue includes a series of responses and provocations for future research on the Doctrine of Discovery. Including a set of recent statements by Christian churches, responses by Indigenous peoples, and scholarly interventions, the issue serves as an urgent call to embrace: 1) a value change for planetary and human survival and, 2) listening to and learning Indigenous values as these values served the planet well before colonization, providing resistance to colonialism, and imagining a healing and wholistic future.
