Becky Esker is the owner and founder of Get Organized! L.L.C., a professional organizing service located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Get Organized! provides services to those in the greater Eastern Iowa area and also serves those all over the world through its website. Becky is a professional organizer, author, speaker and business success coach dedicated to helping people and businesses get organized, be more productive and more successful. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies for Legal Assistants and minors in History and Political Science from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. With 20 years of organizing experience, Becky spent one successful decade in the corporate world working as a legal assistant and as a manager of an insurance department. Both of these positions required extensive paper management and people skills. In addition to earning the Certified Professional Organizing (CPO(R)) designation, Becky also holds her Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization and has completed the necessary coursework for her Certificate of Study in Basic ADD Issues with the CD client. She made her first national speaking appearance in July 2008 at the 13th National Attention Deficit Disorder Association Conference in Minneapolis and subsequent national speaking appearances at the National Association of Professional Organizers Midwest Conference in Chicago, the Future Business Leaders of America conference in Minneapolis and the Chicago Home School Expo. Her activities include: National Association of Professional Organizers, Attention Deficit Disorder Association, Professional Women's Network, Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2009, and the Cedar Rapids Public Relations Association. Becky frequently appears on news stations and radio shows. She has been the featured guest on several different live morning shows, has been a regular contributor to The Edge Business Magazine and City Revealed, and was recently featured as the selected professional organizer in an episode of Hoarding: Buried Alive that originally aired on the TLC network in March 2011.
