Each summer the Sisters Rodeo is the biggest event, attracting top rated cowboys from all across the country. Harry and Lola visit the rodeo and meet some interesting critters who work with the rodeo. Lola was not excited about going to the rodeo but changes her mind about it once she has the opportunity to meet rodeo animals.

Jean moved full-time to Central Oregon in 1991 when she and her husband retired from “corporate” careers. During her professional life Jean worked in sales and or marketing for Xerox and Hewlett Packard. She served as director of marketing for a Portland based high tech company. Eventually she started her own company; Motivational Dynamics, Inc. Jean served as a trainer and keynote speaker at business conferences across the country. She wrote three self-help business books, including Mid-Career Crisis, published by Putnam Publishing, New York. Amazingly, all her books are still for sale on amazon.com. In the past Jean’s written over one hundred articles for many newspapers and taught classes at community colleges from Billings, Montana to Cerritos, in Southern California. Jean currently serves as a board member of Sisters Country Historical Society and Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue. It is in the latter capacity that she began writing the Harry and Lola series of children’s e-books.
