À propos de l'auteur

A native of Australia, Gerard Rose is a trial lawyer, sometime politician, and an advocate for a wide variety of noble and important civic causes. His higher education included stints at the University of Santa Clara and the Rome campus of Loyola University. As an officer in the U.S. Navy during the 1960's, Gerard traveled throughout the western Pacific, including Vietnam. In the early 1970's he taught international law and national strategy to senior Navy officers. Over the years he has served as scout leader; PTA president; a director of his children's grammar school; member and vice mayor of his local city council; a director of his city's redevelopment agency; president of his city's fire/ambulance authority; president of his local Gallery Alliance; and a director of his city's cultural arts center. He is married to a clinical psychologist, and has five children and three grandchildren. He commutes on weekends between homes in California and Illinois, and while on route can usually be found reading trashy novels.
