Mark D Bishop has been an established author of martial-arts' books, zen and bodywork for over 30 years, with numerous publications under his many black belts. Since beginning learning judo as a young teenager in England, his training and teaching in various martial arts has been in karate, aikido, kendo, kobudo, Okinawan te, T'ai-chi and Chinese boxing, etc. This life-long journey has taken him to such diverse countries as: India, Australia, Thailand, Sweden, France, China, Japan and Okinawa, "The Island of Karate", where he lived for almost two decades.
