Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepitello started collaborating on creative projects in the late eighties of the past century. Ina career now spanning almost thirty years, they have created role-playinggames, card games and board games for children and adults. They are especially known for games based on popular intellectual properties, like the Marveluniverse, Doctor Who, Conan the Barbarian or the writings of H.P. Lovecraft.Their greatest achievements so far are tied to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien -Marco and Francesco have created some of the best-known games based of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Their love for deep and engaging fantasticalworlds has led them to appreciate and explore Susanna Clarke's masterpiece - Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.

Susanna Clarke's debut novel Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell was first published in more than 34 countries and was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and shortlisted for the Whitbread First Novel Award and the Guardian First Book Award. It won British Book Awards Newcomer of the Year, the Hugo Award and the World Fantasy Award in 2005. The Ladies of Grace Adieu, a collection of short stories, some set in the world of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, was published by Bloomsbury in 2006. Piranesi was a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller, and shortlisted for the Costa Novel of the Year Award, the RSL Encore Award and the Women's Prize for Fiction. Susanna Clarke lives in Derbyshire.

Ian is an Irish graphic designer and illustrator working out of Perth in Western Australia, particularly acclaimed for his work on titles such as Lisboa and The Gallerist. Focused primarily on tabletop gaming, Ian's work combines his experience in concise visual communication with his flexible approach to illustration.
