Abigail Mann is an experienced teacher and is currently an assistant headteacher in a London secondary school. As an advocate of the #teacher5aday initiative, she takes an active role in improving the wellbeing of teachers and students in schools across the country. Lyndsay Bawden has been teaching English for over 20 years and in that time has held many roles such as head of English and lead practitioner. She is a senior examiner for GCSE English Literature, and a specialist leader in education. Lyndsay speaks at events such as the Schools and Academies Show, Team English Icons, and for WomenEd. She currently works as Trust-Wide English Lead for the David Ross Education Trust, overseeing English in 11 secondary schools, and for Ark English Mastery as a school development lead, whilst also completing her Master's degree in senior educational leadership. Fe Brewer has been enthusiastically teaching English in the East Midlands for over a decade and also works in ITT as lead teacher educator for a SCITT, a role she is deeply passionate about after working as a subject specialism expert and a PGCE mentor for several years. She is also an evidence lead in education and a Litdrive regional advocate: two roles which allow her to share both her love of literature and educational research with other teachers. Fe is a keen presenter, having spoken at TeachMeets and conferences, including Team English and WomenEd and has a reputation for her passionate delivery and flame-red hair. Davina Canham has taught for almost 20 years, both in the UK and abroad. Following her role as Lead Practitioner, she is now Head of English at a secondary school in Northamptonshire. Davina is passionate about subject knowledge and has an MA in twentieth-century literature and its contexts. She is also passionate about developing subject-level CPD and has presented at Educating Northants, United Learning's English teacher conference and for Litdrive's remote CPD. As communications officer for Litdrive, Davina oversees all social media channels and the blog platform, and is the human being at the end of member updates and newsletters. Mary Hind-Portley is a highly experienced teacher and leader, having worked in a number of schools as a teacher, lead practitioner, assistant head and curriculum director.
