John Wiig‘s over 25-year career began with ten years of turnaround experience, where he quickly became a part of the leadership team. He then joined General Electric, picked up Strategic Planning and Six Sigma skills and streamlined several domestic and emerging market manufacturing operations, producing GE’s lowest cost US based factory. He moved into the Financial Services sector and revitalized lending businesses and equity investments, while building his financial expertise to match his practical turnaround skills. He has guided more than a hundred businesses in streamlining their processes in the Service, Financial Services and Manufacturing sectors. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport, and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He resides in Connecticut with his family and is an author and consultant, who travels the country helping businesses of all sizes improve their profitability.
