Synopsis
Flash fiction is VERY short fiction. If a reader has just one minute, he or she can read a story from this collection, in which tales are limited to 100 words or less but still include character, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution. Seventeen of the authors wrote their stories as entries in a monthly contest on a flash-fiction website and were selected as winners or runners-up. Each of these stories has five required words. The other six authors wrote twenty stories each, using required words as part of a writing exercise. All produced delightful results, many with a twist at the end. Mystery, children’s, romance, thrillers, historical, nature, poetry, satire, etc., are examples of the many literary genres included in this fun read! Authors are Glenn Baldwin, Mart Baldwin, Don W.
