Matthew Cain started a business with dreams of changing the world. Two years later, it hadn't earned a penny. But doesn't making mistakes help you learn what to do right? Matthew's second venture was more successful. But it wasn't until he studied other businesses that he discovered the surprising secrets of start-up success. That journey took him to a hairdressers, a mobile app developer, a culinary sauce and electric paint business to find out what they had in common. You, too, can learn how to start a business - and why so much received wisdom is misguided.
