À propos des auteurs

Joanne Kilgour Dowdy is a Professor of Adolescent/Adult Literacy at Kent State University. The American Educational Research Association Narrative and Research SIG awarded her book, Ph.D. Stories: Conversations with My Sisters, the Outstanding Book Award for 2009.

Kenneth Cushner, Emeritus Professor of International and Intercultural Education at Kent State University, is former Director of the Consortium for Overseas Student Teaching and a Founding Fellow and past-President of the International Academy for Intercultural Research. Since his retirement, Dr. Cushner has consulted with numerous international schools and organizations, volunteers at the Orkeeswa School, a Maasai community school in northern Tanzania, and has served as Intercultural Specialist with Semester at Sea.
