The book will focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Other Severe Disabilities (ASD/SD). Manina Urgolo Huckvale, Ed.D., is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Special Education and Counseling at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. Her expertise is in teacher education, special education and transitions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, with teaching and administrative experience in urban, suburban and rural communities.
Irene Van Riper, EdD, is an assistant professor at West Liberty University in West Virginia. She has in-depth experience in teacher preparation for reading specialists and teachers of individuals with disabilities.
