Synopsis

About The Artist Thursday afternoons, during my grade school years were filled with art projects. The sisters at St. Johns had a special love of the arts and devoted a whole afternoon to it. Saturday mornings in Beacon brought art lessons with James Boujikan, Beacon's fi rst artist in residence. My love for art started there and continues. I have been classically trained in oils and watercolors, but lately have been enamored of acrylics. Pen and ink is always a medium that is a pleasure to work in. I enjoy working both two and three dimensionally with vintage and decorative papers and fabrics. So one day will fi nd me painting and the next at the sewing machine. Also I enjoy the challenge of fi nding a way to incorporate the old with the new. My husband and I are the proud parents of two sons that are the light in our life and we live in Hyde Park, New York, with our dog Rocky, and cat Thomas. Biographie de l'auteur

I live in Red Hook New York with my husband of 38 years Michael. We have three grown children, Kristin, Matthew, and Meagan. We spend our days, nights and weekends enjoying our four beautiful grandchildren, Hayle 9, Carina 7, Phillip 3, and Giavanna 2. They are truly a blessing. It has been my lifelong dream to write a children's book. It feels amazing to have fi nally achieved my dream. I hope you all enjoy reading this book, as much as I enjoyed writing it. God Bless.
