Cheohee Valley is situated within Tamassee, South Carolina, where Tamassee Town was located, home of the Cherokee Indians, until General Andrew Pickens fought the famous Ring Fight and moved the Cherokee out to a reservation in North Carolina. This area has always intrigued Wyatt and has inspired the story of a half Cherokee Indian girl named Raven. After a lifetime of working in the Textile industry and floor covering business, Wyatt has retired to a life of writing and spending time with his four children and ten grands, along with his wife Barbara of fifty three years.
