About the Author

This is my first book. The first time that my poetry has been published and i really am excited about it. At first i was a little nervous about even trying to do something with my poems, with the thought in mind, that people would read my poems and say "So what; i could have written this" But i keep in mind that no one can tell my story th e way that i can. No one knows how i feel, why i feel the way i feel, and what I've been through and no one can tell anyone else about me or my feelings but me. i used to wonder to what it wuld be like to be one of those people with his own book published. How it would feel to have someone buy what you wrote, read it, and then get something out of it. My poetry is a gift from God, a reflection of who i am, where i've come from, and the journey that i'm still taking to get where i want to be.
