A critical and analytical approach has been used in this work, as it begins with some of the most basic questions about life and our existence on this planet, starting with an examination of the physical world using both traditional physics and advanced theoretical physics concepts to explain the nature of the universe. The first chapter includes a discussion of the nature of God and proposes some initial responses to the primary question posed about the reason for our existence. In the second chapter a substantive definition of faith is proposed. This chapter also recommends applying reason and critical analysis to an understanding of the scriptures. The third chapter takes a rigorous intellectual view of the gospels to explain the nature of Jesus, to identify his uniqueness, and to finalize the answer to the question previously proposed. No attempt has been made to write a textbook or to cover all of the theological topics in this field.
