She has been fortunate to have two wonderful sons, to have supportive family and friends, and to have taught at the small rural school, "Billtown", in Williamstown, Kansas, for 32 years. She loves to travel to faraway and exotic places. Publishing The Pillow Fairy has been a dream of hers for over 25 years.
