Synopsis

2nd Edition
We all know about Vince Lombardi, but do you know all the connections between the Packers and Giants before Lombardi's arrival? In one of the NFL's greatest rivalries before the Super Bowl Era, many New York Giants found fame in Green Bay after leaving New York. The connections play out as the teams began play in 1928, and they vied for the NFL Championship five times. This unique look at two of the league's oldest franchises captures all the best games, players, and stories. You will be surprised by how many outstanding Packers, both players and coaches, were connected to the Giants before finding greatness in Green Bay. Besides the great Lombardi, do the names Cal Hubbard, Willie Wood, Ray Nitschke, and Ryan Grant sound familiar? They are just a few of the great players you'll meet in Giant Cheeseheads!
