RJ Dalton was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the summer of 1964 to French/German Catholic parents. The youngest of nine siblings in a single-parent home, she began writing short stories and poetry at a young age. Inspired by those who have faced adversity and hardship only to conquer and rise above any misfortunes they were dealt. “Don’t cry over spilt milk, just clean it up and pour yourself another glass!” Her love of children, history and animals and the events that she both witnessed and experienced in her formative years, are the themes of her writing.
