Synopsis

Pure Greed is the second book in The Purifier Trilogy. It continues the story of the Church of Purification’s quest to destroy capitalism and establish world government. The Church plans to release a highly poisonous gas, which they call VX-S gas, in Zion Square in Jerusalem, on the 46th anniversary of the start of the Six Day War. VX-S is a development of VX gas which was discovered by the British in 1952, and is the most toxic nerve agent ever created. So dangerous in fact that the British decided to discontinue plans to introduce it into their military. A power struggle within the Church pits siblings against each other as events unfold in the most dramatic way. Sgt Tom Jackson and his team at Strike Force Brutus are on the case, but Tom is caught up in a scandal that threatens both his career and his marriage.

After graduating with a Commerce Degree, Richard spent most of his working life in the advertising industry in Australia, London, Africa and Asia. He has written a children's book titled Milli The Magpie, a Retirement Guide for Penguin Books, and has now turned his hand to writing crime fiction and to oil painting. He lives in Sydney with his partner Judy and has three children and five grandchildren.
