Volume One of Archives of the Global Disaster Information Network GDIN. GDIN was begun by the office of Vice President Al Gore. It then evolved into two linked projects. One was a domestic program managed by NOAA and other federal agencies. The other was GDIN-International, later GDIN, managed by an international team. This volume contains the reports of all of the GDIN conferences, plus a variety of illustrative working group reports, GDIN News Letters and information on Native American Project. The reports have not been altered. Volume Two will contain repalted powerpoint presentations.
