Synopsis

It happened in waves. The first wave, "the rapture," was predicted by the Bible, but was not expected. In "the rapture," a quarter of the population disappeared like they had never existed. Chaos ensued throughout the world causing the second wave. Every nation pointed a finger to another for the disappearances, and soon for other worldly problems. Threats were made, and then, the bombs went off. Now that the world is changed the last wave, the crash, has started... The creatures that once formed myths and legends have crawled up from the depths of hell and have begun to roam every continent and every ocean. Heaven and hell alike have cast down their armies onto the earth to rain terror upon each other. In the aftermath of the world's destruction, seven unlikely strangers are forced together in an attempt to survive and renew what was lost... Galileo, a former Vegas mob boss is handsome, intelligent, born to lead, and completely content with the life he has made in this new world until he meets Rayne, a woman with deadly skills and a sharp tongue. Rayne is determined to save her country from the invading demon hordes and will do anything it takes, including, searching for a mythical undead army of super soldiers. Across the country, Kalio, an angel of the Roman order, Father Grey, a former Catholic priest, and Jonas, his son have their orders to save the Pure-hearts, the only pure humans left on earth. Yet, when a mission goes awry, their lives become the ones in jeopardy, and running becomes the only solution. Vall, a former harbor master, is trying to live a normal, peaceful life with his family until a succubus sets her sights on his unborn daughter. In an unusual twist, Vall must start a quest to save his daughter, and on the way, help a young orphan, Serene, an extremely peculiar girl, who has no family of her own. Follow seven unlikely heroes, mankind's last real hope in saving the human race from complete annihilation, as they struggle to keep their humanity

À propos de l'auteur

Michael and Heather Edmonds met in college. They now live in Colorado with their four children and two dogs. They have been together for more than a decade, and share a passion for education, writing, art, myths and superstitions, camping, and movies. Their favorite running joke is the impending "zombie apocalypse" and their "zombie plan." The Crash of Heaven is the couple's first book together. Their creativity is inspired by the unique qualities each of them brings to writing: Mike is the expert crafter of horror and oddities, while Heather brings depth, humanity, and romance to the characters and their stories. They plan to continue their successful collaboration and look forward to publishing the next book in the series.
