Synopsis

A boys growing up book. Twins face the world of baby boom Australia and the family prison. Everything seems to be relatives. One twin goes to university, the other to a combat tour in Vietnam. The latter returns, his ideas & theories widely known, as the twentieth century's first celebrity scholar. A rollicking ride of whimsy, memory, travail and even triumph, of theories & ideas, philosophy and fun. Jokes abound. Parody also. And in the end: a redemption of sorts. A larger than life look at post-WWII Australia.
