Most of her ancestors lived and worked in the famous cultural capital St. Petersburg going through all troubles of the USSR, participating in 2WW, having survived even during the siege of Leningrad. It is also to share information about her own development in youth, which was very dramatic. The book contains almost 150 unique pictures and documents, stored above a hundred years in a family archive of the author.

Maria V. Nikolaeva (Atma Ananda - Shanti Nathini - Dolma Jangkhu - Made Sri Nadi) is the Master of Philosophy and Personal Psychology, the member of 'International Writers Union' and 'Translators Union of Russia' (specialized in English), the fellow of 'Association for Study of Esoterism and Mysticism', the the honorable member of St. Petersburg Yoga School. She is the author of 37 books on spirituality printed in Russia, USA, Europe, Asia (upto 115 000 copies), and above 150 articles, constant press correspondent for special magazines and mass-media. She spent 12 years in 10 Asian countries, studying practices with about 50 Eastern and Western spiritual teachers. Finally, she completed her method 'Self-Being Strategy', and was teaching in Bali island (Indonesia) 5 years. Next, she came back to St. Petersburg, leading seminars and giving lectures last 3 years, also visiting 10 European countries.
