Synopsis

"But something incredible has occurred...Something has taken the limits of possibility and decimated the walls restricting human potential. This event changed the world forever, permanently blurring the lines between faith and the sciences...It took the world as humanity defines it, with its monotonous laws and theories, and completely obliterated it. "All of this triggered by an obsessed man's bullet." Is this world ready for the Dimensional Constant? Science and Faith seem to have always been at each-other's throats, but Calhoun State College is one of the few places where blood has been spilled because of it. Marcus Caustings was the sole graduate student of the brilliant theoretical physicist, Professor Paul Goddard. Both men had faced scrutiny and outright denouncement at this overtly religious college, but they had trudged through it all in the search for universal truths. When the Professor inexplicably took his own life, Marcus was now alone in an ideological crossfire. All it took was a spark: an inflammatory article written by an undergraduate named Natalie Whitman. Angered by her blatantly hateful words, Marcus challenges her to uncover Goddard's final conclusions with him. What they discover promises to change our understanding of these competing extremes, and life itself, forever.

À propos de l?auteur

Peter Licari first finished this story at the age of 16. His penchant to be a perfectionist forced him to re-read this story a very lucky 13 times, prolonging its release. At the time of writing, he is a first-year student at the University of Tampa pursuing a double major in Government and World Affairs and Philosophy. Because he is intellectually masochistic, he is also pursuing a minor in writing. Licari runs for the UT Spartans Track and Cross Country teams, and he is an integral part of their varsity squad. The Dimensional Constant is his debut novel. He can be found playing chess, writing, running, sleeping, and reminiscing about the days where he lived in Chuluota, Florida with his dog Buster.
