Two years before writing this book, I had a successful career as a senior IT engineer/manager specialising in large scale systems, infrastructure and security. I was an active member of the technology community and a passionate martial arts athlete. On paper, I had achieved everything I had ever wanted. There was one thing missing... Happiness. At this point I was fortunate enough to meet many brilliant teachers. I threw myself into a journey of self exploration and had a series of life changing experiences. As part of this journey, I was drawn to start practicing the system that is now 13 Weeks to Awakening. Since this change began I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit wise men and women from many cultures and backgrounds. I have taught classes, made friends, facilitated meditation and hosted ceremonies all over the world. Most importantly I have found self-love and subsequently happiness.
