The complete novel is presented through BooCat's eyes, rolling off her sarcastic but humorous tongue. Taking place in Louisiana, the story unfold with BooCat relocated in a brand new household. Her new human and her human's elderly aunt find themselves enmeshed in one mystery after another. Between the three of them, just about everything comes to a satisfying conclusion. BooCat's human's Auntie is the epitome of pure Louisiana Southern, and Southern does not get much better than that. Can BooCat really throw a Frisbee? It is quite likely if she can take a fictional flight into feline fantasy, writing this fun novel all on her own, then she certainly can throw a Frisbee. As with the former BooCat books, "BooCat Throws a Frisbee" is a good read for the entire family.

Barbara Sharik is the author of the BooCat series that includes BooCat Unleashed, BooCat: Dancing Naked in the Rain, BooCat: Living in my Lap and BooCat Throws a Frisbee. Sharik also pens a weekly humor column for the Bastrop Daily Enterprise, a Louisiana newspaper, and a monthly humor column for Louisiana Road Trips magazine. She is an occasional contributor to the Louisiana e-newspaper, BayouBuzz. Currently at work on a psychological thriller, Normal, she also co-authored an erotic romance, Unquenched Thirst, the Crush that Lasted Fifty Years, with Dennis Claiborne. An active dog and cat rescuer, Sharik has four outside dogs and three inside, plus BooCat, the real life featured character in the BooCat series. Her latest dog rescue, Hadley, will be introduced in the upcoming BooCat book titled BooCat Behaving Badly.
