Synopsis

This is the first in a series of books compiled to uplift the spirit and inspire the readers so they may be able to enjoy the rich blessings life presents them with every day. In a world filled with an abundance of negativity it is important to step back from time to time and re-evaluate what we have. We all find ourselves in dark places throughout the course of our lives, which drag us down into depression, but just a few kind words at the right time can easily snap us out of it. Through the writings in this book the author intends to disperse the darkness in the reader’s life and make them see that their beautiful spirit will always give them a new perspective with different options to consider. The verses will bring insight and inspiration to those who look for it, give comfort and support to those who need it, teach tolerance and compassion to those who hardened their hearts and show just how important family and friends are. The aim of this work is for the reader to recognise something of themselves in the poems and gain a little more knowledge about the path they have chosen to travel on; that they open their minds and eyes to see the true beauty that is all around them; that they gather the positive they find on their journey to strengthen them so they can face the challenges they meet each day with confidence; and last but not least that they may find the faith and belief in themselves that will help them overcome any obstacle they may encounter along the way.
