Joan Hutson, author and illustrator, has had over 20 books published by major publishing companies. Many of these publications are picture books for children. She has also illustrated books for other authors. A mother of seven and a classroom teacher for nearly 20 years, Hutson knows children. Besides her deep interest in writing children’s books that inspire, she also taught art, music, and creative writing classes throughout her career. The art in “I see the Moon” reflects her many years with many children.
